Modern Slavery Statement

Motion Workforce Solutions Ltd is committed to preventing forced labour, servitude, human trafficking and other forms of exploitation in its operations and labour supply relationships.

1. Status of this statement

Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires qualifying commercial organisations with annual turnover of at least £36 million to publish an annual statement. This statement is published voluntarily unless and until that statutory threshold applies. The commitments below apply regardless of reporting status.

2. Business and supply relationships

The company provides workforce, payroll, compliance, recruitment support and business operations services. Relevant risks may arise in labour supply chains, worker onboarding, subcontracting, identity documentation, wage arrangements and the use of intermediaries.

3. Standards

  • work must be freely chosen and workers must be free to leave in accordance with lawful terms
  • no worker may be charged prohibited recruitment fees or required to surrender identity documents
  • pay, deductions, working time and holiday arrangements must meet applicable law
  • harassment, threats, coercion, debt bondage and deceptive recruitment are prohibited
  • workers must have access to a safe way to raise concerns without retaliation

4. Due diligence

  • assess labour providers and material subcontractors before engagement
  • confirm business identity, ownership, operating model and any licensing requirement
  • require accurate worker and assignment information
  • review unusual wage deductions, payment arrangements or signs of document control
  • include compliance and termination provisions in relevant contracts

5. Recruitment and worker checks

Identity and right-to-work checks must be completed consistently and without unlawful discrimination. Checks are not treated as a substitute for looking for signs of coercion, substituted identity, controlled bank accounts, withheld documents or another person speaking for the worker without a proper reason.

6. Reporting concerns

Concerns should be reported promptly to a director at info@motionworkforcesolutions.com. Where there is immediate danger, contact the police on 999. The Modern Slavery and Exploitation Helpline can be contacted on 08000 121 700. Reports will be assessed sensitively and referred to the appropriate authority where required.

7. Monitoring

The company reviews reported concerns, supplier issues, complaints and relevant legal developments. Priorities for each review period include maintaining proportionate supplier checks, clear escalation routes and awareness among personnel involved in workforce or payroll activity.

8. Approval

This statement is published on behalf of Motion Workforce Solutions Ltd and is subject to annual director review. Where section 54 applies, the company will complete the formal board approval, director signature and reporting steps required by law.
